SERVICES/LIBRARY
The resources of the Marissa Historical and Genealogical Society’s Library are open to all who desire to utilize our materials. The library contains many books of historic interest, Family History , Court Records, Census Records, Atlases, Files on full of Family History, many albums full of pictures of the area.
Our hours are Monday and Wednesday Noon to 3 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. We are closed on holidays, the week of Thanksgiving and from 15 Dec until 3 January.
We have the following charges:
Copies (all types) are 25 cents each.
This cost applies to copies made on the copy machine, the microfilm reader/printer and each record scanned to a computer file to be stored on a floppy disk or burned on a CD disk. NOTE: Researcher must provide their own floppy disk or CD Disk.

We will assist those who come to our library to the best of our abilities. However, please remember that you may not always find what you are looking for.

For those who cannot visit the library in person, we will be happy to try and assist you with your request for information. However the following applies:
1. $10.00 advance non-refundable fee per request for 1 hour of research and up
to 10 photo copies.
2. Each additional hour will be at a rate of $10.00 per hour.
3. Extra hour charges, additional photo copy costs (25 cents each) and postage fees will be billed.
4. To aid our researchers, please sent your home and e-mail address should we have any questions.
Because we are a non-profit organization, our fee schedule reflects the need of the Society to continue financing the upkeep of the Genealogical Library and Museum, as well as the preservation of its materials and collections.
